I realize that reviews of the Nexus 7 are a dime a dozen. However, I feel that as an owner I should put forth my opinion on the off chance that
ANYONE reads this blog and is interested in my thoughts on things. Overall it is a very snappy little fella. So far my only complaints are the fact that in Afghanistan Roshan does not seem to offer 4G which this tablet claims to support. Well that and the fact that Kit Kat has yet to hit my tablet yet.
I had owned the original Nexus 7, I did not have any of the issues I had read about such as slow downs over time. If you curious as to why I upgraded if I was happy with my old one it is because I was so happy with it.
If anyone asks me what type of tablet to get I always ask a couple of questions like "what do you plan to use it for?"
If the responce is watching movies I generally stear away from the Nexus despite the nice resolution, and really good pixel density. My reason for this is because of the lack of an SD card slot. However, if they are looking for something to play games on, a quick way to check on remote systems, take notes for school, or any number of other answers the first thing I say is go with the Nexus 7.
So for now 4/5 stars, If the next refresh is as solid as this one, and has an SD slot it will likely get 5/5.
