About me

I’m just a regular guy who enjoys tinkering with computers and other tech related stuff. I’ve been working in logistics most of my adult life. Currently, working in fuel delivery.

About this site

I envision this site as being a place for me to post a bunch of things that cross my mind. As well, as serving as my home-labs documentation hub.

About “dev” env & Home-lab

Development environment might be a huge stretch, since I don’t typically do coding. However, with this site written in Markdown and built using Hugo, so close enough. I was using a fairly nice desktop, but it is currently out of commission. With that in mind I’m using a laptop and a dock so that I’m not stuck on a tiny screen.

My home-lab is pretty modest in my opinion. It’s primarily utilized by girlfriend and I for watching movies on Plex. However, I’m seriously looking into switching to Jellyfin. There are a few other things I’m working on getting setup. Such as a camera system that doesn’t rely on the cloud. As some of the other services I’d like to utilize get setup the content on this site should grow. However, I don’t have a ton of time to work play with the homelab.
